Fort Wayne Zoo — Besides the obvious attraction of the zoo itself, there is an overnight program that is outstanding. Fort Wayne is blessed to have one of the top ten zoos in the country. Why not take a night to sleep with the sharks?
Allen County Public LIbrary — Often overlooked because it’s obvious, the library offers not only a beautiful new facility, but plenty of unique learning experiences.Check the library’s schedule for special programs.

Fort Wayne Astronomical Society Star Party — The Society can give approximately 1-1⁄2 hour observing sessions or lectures at their Fox Island Observatory for groups of 10 or more, given 2 weeks notice. Groups of less than 10 can go to Fox Island for observing on any clear Saturday night, April through November, without notice.
Fort Wayne History Center — Check their site for programs, tours, and information about visiting the Chief Richardville House. Chief Richardville successfully negotiated with the US Government for the Miami Indian tribe and was a successful businessman.
Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory — Bring your nature journals and cameras and record what you see. When you get home, you can further your studies on those things that catch your fancy and blog about them.

DeBrand Chocolates — A tasty treat and a fun tour. It’s best to do this tour in smaller sized groups, so one or two families is a perfect way to walk through this delicious little factory.
