Now on its 253 episode Bleach is filled with action and drama. It’s about a high school kid named Ichigo who after getting saved by a soul reaper and getting turned into one gets immersed in to the spirit world where ‘though many battles’ he learns about himself his family and the foundation of the spirit world. The only bad thing about bleach is there are so many side stories that it can throw you off of the main one, but luckily most of the side stories relates to the main story and explains it in greater detail.
Naruto & Naruto Shippuden
In this you have a 2fer because you can’t really watch Naruto Shippuden without watching Naruto first. Naruto is the story of Naruto the ninja, it starts off with him as a kid he’s dimwitted, simple, and a trouble maker but despite that he makes friends and his endless quest to become Hokage ‘master ninja’ shows his spirit and determination. Now here’s the twist, when he was a baby a nine tailed demon fox was sealed inside him and from time to time he battles not just with his enemies but himself to gain control over the nine tailed fox.
In Naruto Shippuden ‘now on its 143 episode’ Naruto is in his teen years dealing with teen issues showing more of a mature side to the story. The action is intense and well paced and the story is beautifully constructed always leaving the viewer wanting more and because Shippuden refers back to events in the first story there is always a sense of the truth coming to light.

Dragon Ball Kai
If you loved Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Kai is the retelling of DBZ. It’s exactly that they really didn’t change much but took out the long drawn out and unwanted sections ‘i.e. powering up for 5 episodes’ so same great taste less filler. It’s great to look at to see what they changed and for nostalgia purposes and most of all to wash out the taste of Dragon Ball Evolution.
X’amd: Lost Memories
In the world of X’amd, Akiyuki Takehara who ‘is the hero of the story’ lives on a small island cut off by war, he leads a semi normal life despite his parents divorce until he gets caught up in a terrorist event that changes him in to a creature called X’amd. At which point he loses control and starts to rampage through the city until he comes face to face with Nakiami who knows what he has become and gives him the choice to save himself and come with her or turn into stone. Akiyuki goes with Nakiami and embarks on a quest to find out the secrets of the X’amd. Once again if you love action this show has it, not only that it is unique and has a nice soundtrack to boot.
