Seamlessly for nearly a quarter of a century, Sade Adu, has smoothly operated on the Rhythm & Blues anatomy as only a British-Nigerian vocalist could with such ooze that can only define her as the Goddess of Love.
Speaking of love, 2010 has plenitude — just think of on again/ off again New Orleans Saints, Reggie Bush & Reality TV Star, Kim Kardashian as well as Usher Raymond & Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas who have recently re-united according to Media-Take-Out.
Maybe, Cupid’s maternal guardian would be able to advise the young couples of ‘sacred’ unions like on her 1988 single, “Nothing Can Come Between Us” when she makes her grand TV appearance later today in support of her latest release; Sade’s first since the eccentric Lovers Rock in 2000.
Now that the void is virtually filled, SADE (pronounced: Shah-day) hopes her 10 year hiatus would go un-noticed but clearly her cult of fans feel “The Sweetest Taboo” performer, could choose to never re-emerge (quite similar to Neo-Soul, Singer — Maxwell) and her presence would still continue to satiate an entire galaxy.
Coincidentally, the R&B/ Soul/ Jazz/ Funk & Soft Rock artist releases Soldier of Love just in time for Valentine’s Day; a new tantalizing LP sure to leave the organic senses shifted as a bullet to a wound. The album to which is obviously a reflection of the steamy and sensual music-video of the same title features an exotic horse, red-hot smoke and her meaty militia dancing to the sound of her drum.
Today, Sade will stop by the BET studios of 106 & Park in New York, hosted by Terrence J & Rocsi who have the livest audience on the planet as deemed by them (only). Usually shy to the camera their, VP of Programming & Entertainment, Stephen G. Hill is amazed to have the duo-act feature such a high-caliber guest on the music-video countdown program.
Hill, tweeted late last night “…you don’t want to miss it,” and because he is historically known for booking big league performers – DVR’s will be synchronized across the world to catch this Über-MUSICian. Check local TV listings for show airings of BET’s 106 & Park.
According to Nielsen Soundscan, Sade has sold 50+ million records worldwide. Soldier of Love, also hits stores today. For more info on Sade, click here.
