Choosing art for my home has never been easy for me. In fact, there is very little actual “art”, mostly family photos and some beautiful photographs taken by people we know. I just never know what to pick, how to make sure that the piece I choose will go with our home and our personalities.
allPopart provides custom canvas artwork made from your personal photographs. What better way to ensure that your art matches your life? Choose your favorite photos and you will definitely end up with a masterpiece!
My original photograph
Based in Hollywood, FL, allPopart.com has created a team of artists who hand illustrate every picture they put out. The process is really easy and starts by calling their Customer Service phone number. The representative will set up your account and send an email with all the instructions you need. If you’re not sure what picture to choose, you can send a few and they will help you decide which one is best suited for the type of art you have choosen.
Once you upload the picture you decide on, they promise a proof within three days, which you can review online and make any changes you want. Don’t like the colors? They will change them. Prefer one face over four? Done. Need to take care of some hair sticking up (see my original picture)? They will edit it out. You can tweak the final product as much as you want before giving the final go-ahead.
While the Warhol style of my custom print is their signature style, there are a ton of options to choose from, from realistic canvas prints straight from your photo to a complete transformation into fantasy with their Cubism style.
Here are my tips for success with your allPopart experience:
- Choose your photo carefully. The picture I chose was a brand new one of my baby that I liked a lot. He was so young that he has changed a lot and the picture doesn’t really look like him. Also, there is a LOT of forehead in the picture, which I didn’t really notice until it was big.
- Have a place in your house in mind when you start designing the print, thinking about the colors in the room, what else will be around it, an what size would be best suited for the wall. I am having a hard time finding the perfect place for my print.
- Have fun with the process! Enjoy designing your piece, as it will hopefully bring you years of enjoyment!
- Try taking pictures of your family or children in front of a Seattle landmark – wouldn’t the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center Arches, or Seattle Center Fountain look great in the background?
