On January 20, 2010, MTV announced an all star lineup for the Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief’ . The worldwide telethon which will be broadcast live on television and streamed lived on the internet and via mobile devices on Friday, January 22, 2010. MTV . Hope for Haiti Now will be broadcast live from New York City, Los Angeles, California and London, England. The telethon will be hosted by Wyclef Jean in New York City, George Clooney in Los Angeles and CNN’s Anderson Cooper who will be reporting from Haiti.
The superstar lineup participating in the benefit for the Haiti earthquake victims includes Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Shakira, and Sting Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kid Rock, and Sheryl Crow in Los Angeles; Coldplay, Bono, The Edge, Jay-Z, and Rihanna.
Anderson Cooper with CNN was on the scene in Haiti on the day after the earthquake and has been offering first hand coverage of the earthquake’s aftereffects for several days. Anderson Cooper will be providing coverage of Haitian earthquake as part of the telethon event.

“Hope for Haiti Now” will be the most widely distributed global telethon in history, being broadcast on network television, cable TV, on the internet and via mobile devices. ‘Hope for Haiti Now’ with a two hour telethon which will be broadcast via multiple networks on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 8:00 PM ET/PT and 7:00 PM CT.
