Bachelor star Jake Pavelka has suffered some awkward moments this season, between the Rozlyn Papa scandal and Michelle Kujawa’s odd grandma-esqe kiss that ultimately sent her packing.
But the pilot says it’s not getting any prettier, as the biggest blow is waiting in the wings.
Host Chris Harrison warns about some “other stuff coming up that is a legitimate big deal,” according to UsMagazine.com. “There is so much more drama that comes that has much more to do with Jake Pavelka’s emotions and the show itself,” he says.
In fact, Harrison says more drama unfolds on episode four: “Next week’s rose ceremony is crazy!”
The Bachelor concurs. “That is yet to come and it won’t be any secret,” Pavelka tells ETonline. When asked how bad it is, Jake responds: “Horrible. Awful. On a scale of one to 10, it nears a 10. It is juicy now. It is going to get a lot juicier.”
Wow Jake. Dramatic! Good thing there are still the fantasy suite dates to look forward to. Did this pilot join the Mile High Club just yet?
Jake smiles and says, “I have nothing to apologize for. The greatest thing about the fantasy suites is you don’t have to go in there and make babies. It is a great opportunity to go in there and spend more time with a girl you are falling in love with.”
Will Jake be “not making babies” with any of the girls still in the running?
After he and Vienna jumped off a bridge together, Vienna’s bold personality got her in trouble with the other bachelorettes. But Jake gives her the benefit of the doubt. “There is a level of honesty that comes from [Vienna] that is turning the girls off,” he says. “She goes back and starts talking about [her date]… but the other girls don’t want to hear that. She is naturally trying to talk about something wonderful that happened in her life. Bless her heart, it gets her in trouble.”
On the most intense contestant this season, Jake says Michelle’s electric blue eyes and sincere desire to be there for him and nobody else kept her there for so long. “She didn’t care what anybody else thought,” the pilot says. “I respected that … I felt in the end, her emotions maybe got in the way of us developing a relationship.”
The good news is, Michelle may be able to leverage her “crazy girl” edit into an invitation to appear on Bachelor Pad.
Jake won’t say whether or not he’s engaged, despite Internet rumors. “What is so funny about that is my parents don’t know,” he says. “They don’t have any idea of the outcome, so it is amusing to think that there are people out there who do.”
