Today’s CSI New York, opens with an overhead night shot of the many tall buildings lit up like a Christmas light show. Now panning to a stadium dome as the sound of a cheering crowd is apparent.
Down on the field are women dressed in lingerie playing football. This is the Lingerie Football League. It is the New York team in a pink lavender color and Boston in an almost sky blue color outfit. The New York team is behind and they have the ball with only seconds to go.
The quarterback drops back and tosses a long pass. The ball seemed to soar in the air forever. As the ball starts to arc downward the receiver leaps in the air. The defender leaps late and the ball is caught by the New York receiver. TOUCHDOWN NEW YORK! Game over to an explosion of cheers. The New York team is happy. The New York fans are happy. The Boston players have their head down.
Next up is the celebration in the New York locker room. The celebration begins the popping of corks of champagne, the drinking, and the pouring in the glass and on each other for the victorious. It looks like a wet t-shirt contest in panties and bra’s.
Focus is on a tall African-American girl walking out of the locker room area to the shower/bath rooms. She has a glass of champagne in her hand. She disrobes then reaches for the knob to turn on the bath water then looks down and see’s a dead body in the tub. She screams and drops the champagne glass.
The coroner Dr. Hamerback is examining the body at the scene of the crime. Mac Taylor is standing by observing. It is learned that the victim was the 1st string quarterback who did not show up for work that day. Mac states he believes she was murdered somewhere else and brought there in the tub. Theme music plays to a collage of the cast of characters of the show. Commercial break. Chantix, V8 Juice, Tylenol at Walmart.
After the break an overhead shot of the stadium is shown. On the field are the players running plays with the coach and doctor observing. Danny and Don interview the team doctor. The doctor exclaims he did nothing or knew nothing that would lead to murder regarding the victim. He is grilled about his past in the NFL where he was fired for doping players.
The CSI female team go into the locker room to Natalie’s locker. It was noticed a piece of tape on the locker. Something was there and torn off. A picture. Stella’s theory is the victim was killed in one of the rooms in the locker area and brought to the tub. The victim was there and never left the building.
The coroner’s report said the victim had respiratory failure. She had an allergic reaction to something injected in her body. She had bruises on the body that came from before her death. There were no drugs in her system.
In the conversation with Coroner Dr. Hamerback and Mac Taylor, the coroner remembers a related case of the same set of circumstances. A montage of the coroner’s interview with the victim’s Mom is shown. The victim was 22 years old and was also on the same team as victim Natalie. The victim’s husband did not want an autopsy. The mother was a grieving parent.
In the lab Danny takes a small fragment of something from the victim’s bra. Danny and Lindsay discuss the case.
Dr. Sheldon Hawkes is examining the contents of the trash from the locker room. Some DNA was found on a syringe. Lidocaine was found in the victims system. Dr. Hamerback and Dr. Hawkes are both examining the body and discussing their findings.
Dr, Hamerback finds a puncture wound consistent with a needle mark on the victim. The theory became someone could have ambushed the victim in the locker room with the deadly shot that knew her medical history.Christian Melvoy was the previous victim. Dr. Hamerback questioned Natalie’s mother about the case. He asked permission to examine her body (autopsy). Commercial break: Ashley Furniture, Carnival Cruise Ships, Hebrew National, Got Milk commercials.
The CSI team is studying fingerprints and studying photos of Natalie. Meredith the winning quarterback of the game was the 2nd string quarterback until Natalie did not show up for work that day. Meredith’s fingerprints were on the photo that was torn off of Natalie’s locker.
Meredith admits she did not like Natalie. Meredith revealed Natalie was sleeping with her boyfriend. A motive for murder. Furthermore it was also learned Meredith had problems with both victims that died on the team Natalie and Christian. According to trace evidence someone was using a human growth hormone?
Meanwhile back at the stadium the team is practicing on the field. Danny and Don stop by to interview the team doctor. The team doctor denies giving lidocaine to the victims. He said no needles, no drugs, no playing around with the players in the interview.
Back at the lab Mac and Lindsay have a conversation about nano-paint that emits frequencies. It was also learned the Team Doctor’s daughter was with him the whole time the death of Natalie occurred. The only problem with that is the daughter is only four years old. Which means she would say anything that daddy said do?
Mac launches a background check on all the players, the staff and employees of the team.
Natalie pawned her engagement ring for 10k at a pawn shop. It was reported stolen a couple days later by the boyfriend. The ring was then confiscated by the police causing the pawn owner to lose ten thousand dollars.
While at the pawn shop Danny spots some war dog tags that look familiar. He ask to see them. After careful examination of the item Danny exclaims that this was his item given to him by a relative. After questioning the owner of the shop and getting nowhere Danny confiscated the item.
Danny has to explain to Don how he lost this item, his personal I.D. and badge. Danny did not make it known to the force and well he should have so say Don. Commercial break: Sprint, Milk Bone, Dave Letterman promo and Jack N’ The Box.
The CSI Team Stella and Jane go to a club. They questioned Coleman, Natalie’s boyfriend. They initially talk to him as a suspect then learn Natalie was the love of his life and did not kill her. He also revealed that Natalie and another team member used to inject fluid into their lips. Stella and Jane discuss their findings.
The Coroner performs a CT scan on Natalie’s skull. Then he shows Stella a 3D representation of Natalie’s body. There were silicon injections in her body, blood clots causing heart arrest. However there was no silicon found in Natalie’s body. She had Botox. Lidocaine is cosmetic. A request to see Natalie’s computer was made by Dr. Hamerback. The cell phone was only available.
A man by the name of Alphonse Portero twitted her before she died from a plastic surgery clinic in Brooklyn. Commercial break:Verizon Wireless, Bayer Aspirin, Subway etc.
Finally the next stop is the clinic. Don and Danny interview the receptionist. She says there is no Alphonse Portero that worked there, doctor or employee. The only Al that worked there was Allan Greenway the janitor.
Don and Danny go to interview Allan Greenway. They approach him and Allan starts running away from them. A chase begins and he is eventually apprehended by Don.
Allan is asked about the dead girls and he denies any knowledge of them. CSI believes he posed as a doctor and injected those girls with lidocaine that he swiped from the clinic. He did not know about their allergies and accidently killed them. He dumped Natalie’s body in the tub after she died.
He continues to deny that he had nothing to do with the victim’s death. Allan’s fingerprints were on the syringe. He finally admits it was an accident. He was just trying to make some money and they asked him to do it to them. He is charged.
Dr. Hamerback is in his office when Natalie’s mom comes by with a gift and just to say thank you. She gave the Doctor an autographed football of the team and Natalie. Dr. Hamerback states people think my job is difficult but being a parent is the toughest thing of all.
Danny back at the lab gets some fingerprints on his dog tags. Danny and Lindsay kiss. There were convict prints on the tags that was supposed to be in prison at the time.
Outside the building Dr.Hamerback spots Mac coming out the building. Dr. Hamerback ask Mac to go long and throws him a pass. Mac obliges and moves to catch the ball. The End.
