What better of an excuse to spend money at a Bakesale, then at a Bakesale for Haiti. Tomorrow, Saturday, January 23rd, THREE locations around the bay: Pizzaiolo in Oakland, Gioia Pizzeria in North Berkeley, and Bi-Rite Market on 18th St. in the Mission in San Francisco, will be participating in “The Bake Sale for Haiti”, from 10:00 am – 2:00pm.
All of the money raised, every dime of it, will be donated to Dr. Paul Farmer’s Partners-in-Health (PIH). A non-for-profit group of doctors and medical professional that give health care, education and training to in-need and third world residents in countries like Haiti, parts of Peru and other areas that have no form of health care and very little money or resources.

Bake Sale for Haiti
I can attest that there will be Maple Bacon lollipops, Chocolate Cupcakes, White Cake Conversation Hearts, Rice Krispie Treats, among various other gourmet confections. Everything is on a donation only basis, with suggested prices posted near each treat.
