This Sunday, January 24, Sean Faircloth, Executive Director of the Secular Coalition for America, will be in Los Angeles to discuss how the values of our nation’s founders directly connect to the values of the secular movement and how theocratically-based injustices in American law are not a historical artifact — but rather a stark current reality that we all have a moral obligation to address. The talk is entitled “One Nation Under the Constitution” and will be given at 11 a.m. at the Center for Inquiry-Los Angeles. The address is 4773 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, CA. The talk is sponsored by Atheists United. Admission is free and the public is invited. There will be a lunch following the presentation.
On Monday, January 25, Mr. Faircloth will give the talk again under the auspices of AU’s affiliate, the Ventura Atheists. The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. at the Ventura City Hall, Community Meeting Room #201, 501 E. Poli Street, Ventura California, 93001. This presentation is also free and open to the public. If you have questions about either of these events feel free to contact Bobbie Kirkhart at [email protected]
