Are you an American Airlines frequent flier club member? Members can earn a one-time bonus of 250 miles for a minimum donation to the American Red Cross of $50 or 500 miles for a donation of $100 or more now through Feb. 28.
The mileage incentives are being offered by Ft. The American Red Cross, through an extensive partnership with the Haitian Red Cross, has made available all of the relief supplies from its warehouse in Panama in addition to deploying disaster management specialists already in Haiti. The carriers also are transporting medical personnel and supplies to the country.
United Airlines is assisting the response effort by contributing monetary donations to the American Red Cross through the International Response Fund. The United Airlines Foundation will match up to a total of $50,000 to the American Red Cross in donations made through their links on this page.
