As another tragedy hits our world, the opening of our hearts to another has showed that we are in this together. What affects one, affects another – there is no denying it. What has happened to Haiti is part of a larger shift that is happening to our world.
Interfaith prayer circles are happening all over. In New York, ministers from the New Seminary, founded in 1981, have joined together in prayer sending blessings over to the people in Haiti.
Jean Luc “Djaloki” Dessables, engineer & Interfaith Minister ordained in 2008, provides us with news, updates, as well as first hand knowledge of what is happening up close in Ayiti, Haiti in Wisdom Circle’s Blog. He and Rev. Claudia Robless (USA), founders of Wisdom Circles Ministries, have taken an active role in organizing these circles throughout the world in order to guide and facilitate the global shift in consciousness currently in motion. The recent 7.0 earthquake event in Rev. Djaloki’s hometown of Peitonville, Haiti has allowed their organization to focus on the healing and repair of the country.
So what can people do to help? When asked Djaloki requested, “that light workers really gather together and send healing energy and prayers not just for Haiti but for the world.”
The message of change is upon us, there is no stopping it. Now is the time to act. These challenging times are not to made light of. They are a call to action to send love and healing to others. To put compassion into action we each need to open and be guided by our hearts.
“Whatever happens over there, happens over here. We too often forget that simple fact. A major earthquake in one of the poorest country in the world shook to reminds us of that fact; and of how little and puny we really are in front of the shear power of Mother Earth, “says Vallerie Legeay, a Sound Healer who on the 14th of January chose to anchor in the light during her sound healing meditation.
In the face of this shake up, there are those who choose to see the positive aspects of what is happening to our world – these are the true heroes or spiritual masters. One of these people is Djaloki, who while experiencing the chaos in his homeland, is still able to hold a perspective that brings hope and change to a world full of despair and fear.
“The positive and beautiful aspect of this situation is the unprecedented global movement of solidarity it is creating. I believe it is an opportunity to revive the emotional, psychic and spiritual interconnectedness that exists between all Human Beings, to intentionally engage into the expansion of our collective consciousness and raise our vibration in the cosmos, as a significant step of the evolution of our species. The time is now and it had been predicted by numerous sources,” says Djaloki.
In a post by Patricia Cota Robles, cofounder and president of the nonprofit, educational organization New Age Study of Humanity’s Purpose, Inc., Robles writes: “On January 12, 2010, Haiti had the most devastating earthquake she had ever experience. This tragedy instantly drew the attention of the world to the most downtrodden and needy people in the western hemisphere. In the midst of the chaos Humanity opened our hearts and reached out to our sisters and brothers. Our differences became irrelevant and the Oneness of Life began to register in the hearts and minds of the masses of Humanity in profound ways. The love and compassion we developed when we witnessed the pain and suffering of our sisters and brothers softened our hearts and allowed more of God’s Love and Healing Light to flow into the Earth.”
Another insight from Karen Bishop, author and creator of the What’s Up On Planet Earth? web site containing information about ascension and the higher realms, writes in here Wings Post: “The massive earthquake that occurred in Haiti this week created a monumental heart opening for the planet. The pain, suffering, and tragic loss it created opened our hearts and shifted the planet, pushing it into the heart space that it will be now operating from.”
You don’t have to be in Haiti to make a difference. “The time is now and Wisdom Circle Ministries is intentionally working on creating the space and container to help us towards the next step in our evolution,” says Rev. Claudia who resides in Brighton, MI with her husband and daughter.
There are many local events, prayer circles, organizations to donate for Haiti. Let this be an opportunity to rededicate ourselves to creating a world built on cooperation, sustainability and love. To start here are some organization given by Djaloki:
Partners in Health
Mennonite Central Committee
Doctors without Borders
“Believing that positive change is possible is the first and most important step in making the world a better place. Those who doubt that they have the power to enact change or cannot see the significance of one person’s contribution seldom take the necessary steps that could help others or the world. A belief in your ability to make a difference in someone’s life or heal the world’s ills gives you the strength of will to make it so. You can then see the impact your actions—especially since the effects of your contributions will balloon outward to touch the lives of many. Believe that you can make a difference today, and you won’t have to look far to see the impact you are capable of.” Daily Om
