The rain and the Golden Globe Awards could not stop the performers, fashion designers, models, movie and music directors, fans, media, photographers and friends of Local Celebrity Los Angeles from attending the first most promoted event of the year.
At Local Celebrity Los Angeles people saw and were able to hear Los Angeles got talent.
Another part of this event was the fashion the was worn by celebrities including the host Ryan Ray, who was wearing some pieces of LASC.
“This was a fabulous evening and I enjoyed the many talented performers who demonstrated depth and artistry in their singing abilities.” said Dr. John Carvalho, Cal State University Senator Member, Political Action Committee West Hollywood, Human Rights Campaign.
The contestants who were eliminated were Diana Vega and Tara Thomas. The event was opened by Denicar Bergancia who won first prize in this contest last November 15, 2009 and was awarded $200.00.
“I was really pleased by the quality of the competitors. I also felt MC Ryan Ray and the judges kept the evening exciting and energized. This will be a great weekly event in West Hollywood on Sundays.” Concluded Dr. Carvalho.

Local Celebrity Los Angeles was stream broadcasted via http://www.localcelebritytv.com. Per Wake Up TV and Local Celebrity Los Angeles host Ryan Ray, the show was viewed online 22,435 times. The website host confirmed that the show lasted about 2 hours and 30 minutes and for been the first time ever was broadcasted by Local Celebrity Los Angeles. It was ranked 4th place for the day, and 5th place for the most watched show with the total of 22,435 views on the world wide web.
Per event organizers, there were more then 200 people who attended the event on 1-17-2010. Local Celebrity Los Angeles was held on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 9 pm to 11:30 pm. at the Eleven Night Club and Restaurant located at 8811 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069.
There was a red carpet for photo opportunities, and interviews from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The show started around 9:45 pm and ended close to 12:00 am. During the red carpet, contestants and judges were interviewed by Ryan Ray of Wake Up TV, one of the event sponsors and the Local Celebrity master of ceremonies.

The event entrance fee was only $5.00 and there were prizes, drinks specials, giveaways and more surprises.
Per the event organizers, Local Celebrity is a fun 10 week singing competition where 10 singers will wow the audience and the judges for a chance to become the Local Celebrity, LA.
The winner of this season’s Local Celebrity, LA will receive $800, and an on line interview with the judge. He or she will perform live at Long Beach City College, and KLBC Radio will interview the winner, who will be represented by 2 agents for 1 year. The winner has the potential of working with either a record, entertainment executive, or one of the judges to cut a 1 song demo, and lastly, achieve the title of being the first full season’s winner of Local Celebrity, LA 2010.
