Around Central Arkansas today, the Little Rock airport commission has voted to return skycap service. The move comes a few months after most airlines dropped the curbside baggage check-in because of budget cuts.
Governor Beebe has told supporters he’s running for re-election this year. Republican officials say they expect a vigorous campaign against the incumbent governor.
A survey by the Arkansas Minority Health Commission reveals that one in four Hispanics interviewed felt discriminated against when they went for medical care in Arkansas. Complaints included long waits and rude treatment. On the other hand, over 80 percent said their health care was okay.
