Rozlyn’s journey on “The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love” came to a surprising halt on Tuesday’s episode when she was dismissed from the show for having an inappropriate relationship with one of the show’s crew members.
During the mixer Chris Harrison, the show’s host, pulled Rozlyn outside for a private conversation. She looked surprised, but when he started saying things like “we’ve never had this happen before” and “this is awkward” she looked very nervous. And to tell you the truth, it was really awkward! Chris had a hard time getting the rest of it out, but he told her that he was aware of an “inappropriate relationship” she was having with one of the crew members. He told her the crew member was no longer with the show, and the show didn’t find it fair to Jake, the other women or Rozlyn for her to continue.
So, what was Rozlyn’s reply? “So, you think that there’s no other girls here that felt for other people before they came to the show?” What?! Wait… what? That wasn’t what Chris was implying Rozlyn, and that sentence makes it sound like you were having a relationship with this crew member before the show even begin. To top it off, Rozlyn also said that she didn’t think her personal life is anyone’s business. Rozlyn, you are on a show to find love, and you are supposedly having an inappropriate relationship with a crew member. There is no way that is not their business, sorry to say it. Chris then told her she needed to pack her bags and leave immediately. She continued to defend herself right to the end, and when she walked back in the house she simply said, “I’m leaving.”
The next step was for Chris to tell Jake what had happened. It broke my heart to watch him tell Jake. Jake did not deserve this, and this was truly the uncomfortable part. He was stunned by the news and looked, at first, like he thought he was being punked. Then his face turned to devastation because he really liked Rozlyn. “Can I get my rose back?” he asked Chris.
Finally, Chris had to tell the women about Rozlyn’s betrayal and departure. Jake, after collecting his thoughts, joined Chris for the announcement. At this point, the other women were confused and had no idea what was coming. When he did tell them what was happening you could have heard a pin drop after the gasps were finished. Jake, with absolute pain in his voice, told the women that if anyone wasn’t sure about being here he wouldn’t be mad but wanted to know now.
When the group finally did get to the rose ceremony, Christina and Ashley were sent home.
Smile for the rose
Gia, Rozlyn, Felicia, Christina, Ashleigh and Corrie were invited on the first group date. The six women joined Jake for a photo shoot with the fashion director at InStyle magazine.
Christina was extremely nervous about the shoot and kept comparing herself to Rozlyn, which is very unfair to her because Rozlyn is a professional model. She couldn’t seem to shake the nerves behind the camera. Jake stepped in to calm her down and help her loosen up, and the pair took adorable photographs together.
Ashleigh pulled out the big guns at the cocktail time later that night when she interrupted Gia’s alone time with Jake in a teeny, tiny bikini. Gia got her revenge, though, when she and the other women broke up Jake and Ashleigh’s alone time with their bikinis. Lucky for the other women, they broke things up before things got too hot.
Christina pulled Jake aside later on to tell him how great she thinks he is and how happy she is to be with him. Unfortunately for Christina, Jake noticed that she had drunk a little too much and was babbling complete nonsense. And she thought Rozlyn stealing Jake away was hurting her chances.
During their alone time Rozlyn went in for the kiss, and she and Jake shared an intense moonlit make-out session. Jake said he was intrigued by Rozlyn’s mysterious personality and actually felt a little intimidated by her. He liked it so much that he offered her the group date rose. She happily accepted. It was actually really cute because he hid it behind his back, tucked in to his towel. She acted very surprised to see it, although I’m sure she knew it was coming since he abandoned her on the roof top.
Fly away with Jake
Ali was chosen for the first one-on-one date and was given a gorgeous diamond necklace to make the date that much sweeter. Ali was overwhelmed with excitement and anxiousness before the date and actually fell to tears when she heard her name.
Jake picked Ali up on his motorcycle and drove her to the airport. Jake was really sweet when the pair got to the airport, making sure to check every aspect of the plane before flying because he could tell Ali was so nervous. He took her on a beautiful tour of the city in a small, two-seater plane, and Ali saw the trip as their relationship taking off. Lucky for her, Jake was feeling the same way.
After their flight, Jake and Ali enjoyed a romantic dinner in Palm Springs. Jake, of course, offered Ali the rose on the table, and the two shared a very passionate kiss. The date was capped off with a private concert – just Jake, Ali and Chicago.
Theme park fun
Elizabeth, Jessie, Katherine, Ashley and Vienna were invited on the second group date.
Michelle was full on angry when she found out that she would not be going on any of the dates. She felt completely rejected by Jake and felt he had showed her that he didn’t want to be with her. Seriously, she needs to calm down! I really can see her coming back mid season to win back Jake after she can’t deal with her elimination. While the women were on their date Michelle totally lost it and started packing. She said she wasn’t getting any time with him so may as well leave. Some of the other girls tried to convince her to stay, but she had it set in her mind that this was a waste of time.
The second group date took five of the girls to Six Flags, which had been closed to the public and opened up just for the date. Elizabeth was the first to steal Jake away during the date, and he told her he was so impressed with her the first night, pulling out a football in a gown. During their time together Elizabeth read Jake a note she had written to him that told him she didn’t want him to kiss her unless she was going to be the only woman he would kiss for the rest of their lives. He respected that and thought it was sweet.
Later that night, Vienna pulled Jake aside to tell him her secret. She told him that she had been engaged years ago but called off the engagement because she was only 18 years old. Apparently, one month later her ex-fiance was married and having a baby, so she rebelled by running off and eloping with a man she barely knew. Four months later they were divorced. Not sure how Jake felt about the situation because Ashley interrupted the pair before Jake could react to Vienna’s story.
At the end of the date Jake gave the rose to Elizabeth and then surprised only her with fireworks. He said he chose her because he was intrigued by her and still had a lot of questions for her.
At the cocktail party Jake surprised Ella with some alone time and a birthday cupcake since her birthday was the previous day.
Tenley planned on telling Jake about her ex-husband, but she got really flustered and missed her opportunity.
Michelle told several of the other women that if Jake didn’t come find her and talk to her she was going to speak up before he gave out the roses. Why don’t you speak up to him during the mixer instead of sitting on your butt all night? Michelle did get some alone time with Jake because he came to her not because she went to him, and she was up front about almost leaving earlier that day. She was near tears telling him she will always be honest with him. For a moment, Michelle was feeling good, but that was quickly over when another woman stole her away. I really thought she was going to tell the other woman she couldn’t have Jake, but she sucked it up like a champ… a crazy champ!
