Finding the right group to suit your interest isn’t a big problem in Las Vegas. There are many readers and writers groups, from fiction to poetry to screenwriting. Various online guides can be found just by searching “Writer’s events Las Vegas,” visiting MeetUp, or scanning some local issues of The View or RJ. What’s Happening runs every Friday on www.aerochug.com listing of a sampling of events or meetings within the upcoming week to ten days. But sometimes I spotlight an event well in advance so plans to attend can be made.
A listing of writers’ groups that meet on a regular basis follows. If you know of a group that should be listed, please click here to provide information for future columns. These groups welcome both published and unpublished writers and readers who would like to learn more about how books and articles are created.
